Eglomisé Reception Desk Panels
Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi Resort Hotel & Spa
Photos just in of three eglomise reception desk panels Miriam created for the new Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi
Resort Hotel & Spa in the United Arab Emirates. Themed as a Venetian resort, it is one of the most high-end
hotels built to date in the U.A.E. The three panels have a strapwork pattern executed in palladium leaf
with red gold accents.

Elle Decor Modern Life Concept House
Finishing touches are being completed on the Elle Decor Modern Life Concept House, opening
next week, Friday May 20th! Installation has been completed for Miriam's églomisé window panel, pictured to the right,
which she created for a space designed by Sara Story. This unusual scrim is imbellished with a gold leaf ikat pattern and
completely transparent allowing natural light to filter through.
All proceeds will benefit Housing Works and the "concept" house is
open to the public for 3 weekends only. Don't miss it!

Online Buzz - Kips Bay Decorator Show House 2011
The Kips Bay Decorator Show House opened 2 weeks ago and continues through May 26th. If you haven't had a chance to visit the house,
and I hope you do, check out this interactive show house tour
at the web site of Vintage and Modern. It's very well done and gives a
comprehensive overview of the entire show house.
Heather Clawson's blog, Habitually Chic, features 24 photographs of the woman's library room designed by Kemble Interiors.
Heather writes, "I could have spent all day in this room which in my mind makes it a huge success."

Kips Bay Decorator Show House 2011
April 28 - May 26, 2011 - New York City
This years Kips Bay Decorator Show House features a 15' x 17' glass églomisé ceiling created by Miriam for designer Celerie Kemble's library room.
It is a most unusual applications of this ancient genre and the first time Miriam has created an églomisé "sky" ceiling. All proceeds from the Decorator
Show House benefit the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club. The Show House is located at 163 East 63rd St. and will be
open to the public for a month. Don't miss it!

Elle Decor Modern Life Concept House
May 20-22, 27-30 & June 3-5 - New York City
Elle Decor will present the Modern Life Concept House with partner LX.TV Open House featuring Ten
designers – ELLE DECOR's A-List "Designers to Watch". Miriam is creating a 55" x 90" translucent
glass scrim with a gold leaf ikat pattern for a window in a room designed by Sara Story. The house will
be open to the public for 3 weekends starting May 20th and all proceeds will benefit Housing Works.

Eglomisé Panels Created for Bar Boulud in London
March 2010
In collaboration with Tihany Design in NYC, Miriam just completed a series of twelve églomisé
panels for the new Bar Boulud scheduled to open this May in London's Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park. The panels
were embellished with a moon gold leaf damask design and will be installed within a dining room bar area. The
image to the right shows two of the panels photographed in her NYC studio. |

Curved Glass Mirror
This unusual curved glass églomisé mirror, designed by Miriam Ellner and pictured to the right has a stylized nature motif of flowers,
vines and birds. The custom made walnut frame can be hung for portrait or landscape viewing. The center
panel has an antique mercury mirror. It is currently available for sale.

Neoclassical Border Mirror
This églomisé mirror is embellished with a neoclassical border design executed in palladium
leaf and backed with polychromes, aniline dyes and silver leaf achieving a deep burgundy jewel tone
effect. The antique silver leaf frame can be hung for portrait or landscape viewing. The center panel
has an antique mercury mirror. It is currently available for sale.
